bella mi joins facebook
Silly as it may seem that a design agency that does a ton of web work would resist joining Facebook, there is always a method to our madness. Our brand identity and mission are very dear to us, and we pride ourselves on being a boutique agency that carefully selects our projects and always maintains the close personal attention we give to each of our clients. For a long time, the mass marketing connotation of social networking did not seem to fit our image and style. But due to our growing fan-base of loves (clients, friends, and the like), requests for a page to link shout-outs (which we LOVE!), and the desire to highlight our clients’ awesome achievements, we finally decided that it was the right move for us.

So, if you haven't already...

introducing ...
adrianne elizabeth events
We met Adrianne (or Ady, as we endearingly refer to her!), of Adrianne Elizabeth Events during her glam corporate event planning days in NYC. A recent move to Columbus, OH proved the perfect time for her to fulfill her lifelong dream and launch her own business planning weddings, corporate, social and philanthropic events. Now a big fish in a small pond, she hit the ground running, and it was quickly time to build a website to showcase her impressive portfolio. Bella Mi worked with Adrianne to design a site that would enhance her already gorgeous branding and wow potential clients as much as her events always do. We missed working on this project the second it wrapped – fortunately we can check back in on her blog (also designed by Bella Mi) when we need our Ady fix!

miles for moms
There is nothing more rewarding than having the opportunity to use our talents for a good cause…one of the best causes we can think of. Miles for Moms is an NYC tri-state cancer foundation which hosts an annual run/walk to raise money for cancer research. Marking its 10th year, this growing non-profit decided it was time for a complete website overhaul and redesign. And we at Bella Mi were honored to take on that task. The first step was to modernize the branding with a logo refresh, and a color palate update, pairing a range of blues with a punch of hot pink to add energy and life. Next was a complete face-lift for the website. Streamlining the registration, donation, and volunteer sign-up processes, as well as integrating methods to capture and organize the many mailing list requests, was critical. And of course, making the site beautiful, inviting, and easy to navigate. We are so proud of this project and grateful for a growing partnership with a fantastic organization. Check them out and donate to this great cause at www.milesformoms.org!

serie sweets becomes stephanie’s traveling boutique!
Since its launch last fall, Serie Sweets has more than tripled in size! What was once a one-woman show is now a team of savvy stylists, hosting parties all over the tri-state area…and hoping to expand soon! Transitioning to an official new name made sense with this rapid growth, and Stephanie’s Traveling Boutique fit the evolving business model. Bella Mi created a new logo, which was incorporated into all aspects of the existing website and branding for a seamless transition.

mrs goode manners goes global!
After almost 2 years of successfully spreading goode manners (and cheer!) to California’s Bay Area, Mrs. Good"e" Manners felt it was time to expand her reach to a national level. Bella Mi acted as both consultant and design team on this project. Phase I just wrapped, and the result is an educational yet fun-to-read blog, where Mrs. Good”e” Manners shares her etiquette expertise and offers advice in a Q&A forum. Phase II will include a national directory of fellow educators, and Phase III will feature online games and quizzes to aid families in teaching manners to their kids in a fun, no-pressure environment. Stay tuned!!
